There was mold everywhere one participant said. Any info is greatly appreciated. Try this link to check out sledd hall floor plans. One two three four first floor.
Uf will announce a course of action for the fall no later than july 15. Could anyone provide a sample floor plan or preferably some images of what can be expected from a three room triple in either fletcher hall or sledd hall. The graham area consists of three residence halls. As per usual the uf housing website is sorta iffy on details.
Black cultural in graham area llc the black cultural living learning community at the university of florida is a counterspace grounded in the black experience for students to live learn and lead together in a multicultural environment. Sledd hall in the murphree area is comprised of single double and triple rooms with communal bathrooms. Sculptural figures along the cornice depict the all male student population of the period engaged in a variety of activities. Sledd hall designed by university architect rudolph weaver was built in 1929 and links to fletcher and thomas halls.
I was sick everyday i lived there. Uf opened the dorms at about 70 75 capacity knowing damn well that its just a giant petri dish. They ve already started to fall apart and this isn t stopping anytime soon. Each floor has a dedicated resident community coordinator to promote safety and a social environment.
The third floor has regular windows instead of the bay windows so the rooms are boxier and larger then the ones on the first floor with the bay windows which is more of a pentagon shape which limits the space of the room. It feels like uf isn t pushing testing onto its students because they want to keep their confirmed cases numbers down. Mold in the vents broken windows just gross.
