Toddler Rubbing Head On Carpet
My son is almost 8 months old and for the last 3 weeks or so he will rub his head on the floor the couch and any anything he can actually.
Toddler rubbing head on carpet. He doesn t do this all the time and i haven t noticed that it is around his sleepy time or anytime in particular. Does anyone elses lo do this or is my little monkey just odd. Mine used to bang her head onto the floor when she had a fit as early at 9mo. Treatment for head injuries depend on the severity.
Hello everyone my son is nearly 1 and is my third of three boys recently we ve noticed he s been rubbing his head against surfaces mostly when he s led down for a nappy change or playing going to sleep. This is probably normal toddler behavior they re weird little creatures but my ds has lately been getting on all fours putting his forehead top of his head on the floor and pushing himself forward. Hi ladies im lying here next to lo on our bed and he s been rubbing his head on the bed shaking head side to side he has started doing this a lot when lying on the floor and mil mother in law said he likes the feel of it. She had a constant bruise on her forehead for about a year.
He does it for quite a while. My 3 year old son often does that dragging of his head when we are at the beach. He will rub his forehead to my chin or my forehead as well as anyone else. However if he s stood or sat and can get the back of his head against something he rubs there too.
My dd started at about the same time as yours i was a bit embarassed as it seemed so young. If your toddler is banging his head against something hard like the wall you can try padding the area where he does most of his banging. And he isn t unhappy while he is doing it. No i think it is normal.
If your toddler is pulling or twisting her hair or your hair suggest that she tug and twist a doll s hair instead or perhaps tug on and twist a blanket. Finally she grew out of it. Today however she has vomited twice. In mild cases ice rest and extra cuddles are the best medicine not a bad treatment for adult head bumps either after a concussion.
She lies on her pillow or stuffed animal on the carpet in the middle of the living room or on the sofa and rubs herself on them. Usually on carpet but sometimes on the hardwood. Should i be concerned about a head injury she is showing no other signs or symptoms other than not wanting to eat much but that could be attributed to her having an upset stomach.
