Towel Radiator Height Above Floor

This is mid chest height for most adults.

If it s over the vanity like in my guest bathroom hang the towel ring 20 22 above the vanity again measuring from the bottom of the ring. If you have a towel bar that also has a shelf above it the bar itself should measure roughly 48 inches above the floor. 150mm is the recommened height off the floor but remember to hang the bracket higher.

Even with relatively large bath towels that are 60 inches long the towel will still fall 18 inches above the ground. Eg if you want rad 150mm off floor put bracket on rad and measure distance from bottom of bracket to bottom of rad and add this distance to the 150mm. For the example above. Towel bars should be located anywhere 14 to 18 inches above the vanity countertop.

Now you need to measure how high the radiator will be mounted known as the set height. Leave a four inch clearance between towel bars and outlets or switches. Remember to include the distance from the bottom of the radiator to the bottom of the bracket. In our demonstration we will measure 245 mm from the floor and make a small mark.
